I was raised on a dairy farm in northern Ohio. Grew up around cows and was always interested in horses, but didn't have much exposure to them. Jim was raised on a farm in middle Georgia and grew up with cattle and horses. After spending 22 years in the Army, he retired in 1999. That's when we met. We both had gone through a divorce and we married in November, 2001. We started out just wanting a couple of horses to ride, but over the last couple of years decided we wanted to start breeding and raising quality paint horses. Our goal is to raise horses that would be suited for halter, pleasure or rodeo events. We have the start of a very nice, well rounded broodmare band and yearling buckskin tobiano stud colt (Cappuccino Cash) that is not only papered real well, but gorgeous and smart too. In a year or two, we will be using him as our stud and also offer him out for stud.
